Alison Morris is an attorney who focuses on special education litigation.
Before joining Barger & Gaines, Alison worked at The Cuddy Law Firm, where she focused on special education litigation and special education advocacy, and represented families at 17-a Guardianship hearings.
Alison graduated summa cum laude from Pace Law School in May 2014. While at Pace, Alison worked on cases for children with special needs in a Disability Rights Clinic, interned for the Department of Justice in the Disability Rights Section, and externed for the Honorable Kenneth M. Karas in United States District Court for the Southern District of New York. She was also an editor of the Pace International Law Review, and was awarded the Extraordinary Pro Bono Justice Award. Alison graduated magna cum laude from Wheaton College in May 2011. During her time at Wheaton, she mentored freshman as a Preceptor, served as a tour guide, and graduated as a member of the Sigma Delta Pi National Collegiate Hispanic Honor Society. While an undergraduate, she studied abroad in Mexico where she volunteered at an orphanage for mentally and physically disabled children.
Alison lives in Westchester, NY. She is the sister of a special needs child.
