Amanda Zane, Esq., has devoted her career to advocating for the rights of children and families. Prior to joining Barger & Gaines, she represented abused and neglected children in Bronx Family Court. As an attorney for the child, she fought tirelessly to ensure that children in the foster care system received all of the benefits and services that they were entitled to under New York law. She also has experience representing children in custody and persons in need of supervision (PINS) proceedings.
Ms. Zane received her Juris Doctor from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where she was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society. During law school, she worked as a judicial intern for the Hon. Laura E. Drager in the New York State Supreme Court, Civil Branch, and as an intern for the Office of the New York State Attorney General, Investor Protection Bureau. She graduated from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology.
Ms. Zane is admitted to the bar in New York State.
