Ashley N. Richardson represented clients in matrimonial litigation and family law matters prior to joining Barger & Gaines. Ms. Richardson served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Deborah J. Venezia, P.J.F.P., in the Middlesex County Family Division. She also worked as a judicial intern for the Honorable Paul A. Kapalko, J.S.C., in the Monmouth County Civil Division and as a legal intern at the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York.
Ms. Richardson received her Juris Doctor from Touro Law School where she was honored as a member of the Touro Law Review. She was recognized with awards for Excellence in Legal Research and Writing as well as Oral Advocacy. Ms. Richardson graduated from Saint Joseph’s University earning a Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, with departmental honors in English, a minor in Gender Studies, and a concentration in Marketing. She was a member of the Sigma Tau Delta International English Honor Society and received the 2008 Gender Studies Program Award.
Ms. Richardson is admitted to the bars of New Jersey and New York. She is certified by the Administrative Offices of the Courts of New Jersey in Mediation and Conciliation Skills. She has also presented as a seminar panelist for the Middlesex County Bar Association.
Ms. Richardson is passionate about advocating for families of children with special needs and approaches her practice with the enthusiasm and sensitivity necessary to effectively represent all clients.
