Kelly McDaniel is an American Bar Association Certified Paralegal who has spent the past four and a half years working closely with school districts in New York, New Jersey, and California.
She received her Bachelors of the Arts in English, with a minor in Criminal Justice, from California State University Fullerton in 2013. Following her graduation, she received her Life, Accident, and Health Insurance License and began working at a brokerage firm, Pacific Educators, that dealt exclusively with school districts and their personnel. While there, she enrolled in night classes at California State University Irvine where, in June of 2016, she earned her ABA Paralegal Certification.
While in her position at Pacific Educators, Ms. McDaniel gained a great deal of insight into the inner workings and governance of school districts. The experience proved to be of great benefit to her in her current position as a paralegal who focuses on special education matters.
However, it is not simply her past work experiences that makes her a valuable member of the Barger & Gaines team. Like many of our clients, Ms. McDaniel is diagnosed with ADD and OCD. She can empathize with many of our clients are going through — because she has been there herself.
